I would lie down on the grass and look up to the starry sky, the ones moving slowly shaping into the aircrafts they were.
There was the occasional sparkling shooting star on which I would douse my wish, hoping it would make it come true.
The tree leaves rustling in the wind while the sound of the insects competing to protrude their own distinct sound seemed like a little competition.
The crickets successfully peppered the whole place with sound.
If you looked around you, the shadows of the trees looked like silhouettes in the distance.
The moon would peek through the trees, waking up from its long nap.
The big yellow moon would be glowing down, giving light after the sun went to sleep.
All the bright lights from the city were nowhere to be found, only hundreds of miles away.
There were no cars, no other people
I was all alone, as if I had the world all to myself.
But most of all, tranquility came from the peace within, which seemed to permeate through the crisp, dark, but comfortable nights.

芝生に寝そべって星空を見上げると、ゆっくり動いている星たちが飛行機の形になっていった。
時折きらきらと光る流れ星を見ては、願いが叶うようにと一生懸命お願いをした。
木の葉が風にそよぎ、虫たちの鳴き声沢山聞こえ、お互い競い合っていたようだった。
コオロギの鳴き声は、この場所全体に音を響かせることに成功していた。
周りを見渡せば、木々の影が遠くにシルエットのように見えた。
長い昼寝から目覚めた月が木々の間から顔を覗かせる。
